Donations

The Western Colorado Botanical Gardens and Butterfly House is becoming a special place in the hearts of visitors from throughout our region, the United States and faraway nations. They are public gardens financed through private donations, admission and tour fees, memberships and grants. We do not receive an annual stipend from any governmental agency. That is why your help is always valued and appreciated. Donations make up almost 50% of our Annual Budget. Without donations from our members, visitors and friends, we would not exist. Please help your Gardens grow and give generously. Major donors will be given special notice on our future Donor Board for all to see.

Donation Levels:

Friend Up to $99

Memorial Donations

To give a donation in memory of a loved one, the listed levels apply. Also, there is a special program for those who want to purchase an item to be placed in the Gardens in memory of a loved one.

Contributor $100 to $499
Patron $500 to $1,499
Benefactor $1,500 and above

City Market Card Care Program

To make a quick and easy on-going contribution to WCBG, use your Value Card at City Market or your SopperCard at King Soopers each time you shop.

A percentage of your purchases, including fuel, is contributed to the Gadens. You can register with WCBG by calling the office at 245-3288.

Goodsearch.com

You can now raise money for the Gardens simply by doing an internet search!

The Western Colorado Botanical Gardens is registered with GoodSearch.com, a philanthropic website. GoodSearch is a search engine which donates 50-percent of its revenue to the charities. You use GoodSearch exactly as you would any other search engine, like Google. It is powered by Yahoo!, so you get good search results. The money GoodSearch donates to the Gardens comes from its advertisers — it doesn’t cost you, or the Gardens, anything.

To add GoodSearch to your internet toolbar simply go to www.goodsearch.com.

You can also help by using GoodShop, an on-line shopping mall that operates similarly to GoodSearch. Each purchase made via the GoodShop on-line mall results in a donation to the user’s designated charity. Well-known companies such as Amazon.com and Target participate.

If you would like help getting started or if you have questions about the program call 245-3288.

Anyone may purchase a six inch by six inch tile with a variety of custom inscriptions, preserving special moments and memories. Tiles are an excellent gift for birthdays, weddings, concerts, receptions, classes and a variety of other events.

Possible Inscriptions:

  • Your name
  • Your family’s name
  • A loved ones’ name
  • Dates of special occasions
  • Or select a graphic.

The Tiles come with two options:
